Polar Express 2008

We finally did it! We went on the Polar Express in Williams. It was so much fun and the boys especially loved it. We went with our good friends, Kim and Scott and their kids, but unfortunately our seats were in differernt cars. We weren't sure that we were going to make it, but we caught a window between two snow storms and got in, but didn't make it out like we had planned. We got snowed in another day, but we sure had a lot of fun in the snow!

Nothing like hot chocolate and cookies in the cold.
That hot chocolate was sooo good!!!

Jacob was happy to get his big cookie.

Here comes Santa Claus.

Well, the pic didn't catch all of them smiling (or open eyes) but it was still cute, I thought.

All our kids and their bells.

I Believe, I Believe...

All ready to go out into the cold.
Fun in the snow - sitting in a cold pile of snow.
Must be a kid thing.
Ragan with the kids posing by a train.

It was a fun time with the kids. We hope they remember the fun times and not how stressed out mom and dad were by driving in the weather with not so good tires and sleeping in a hotel room with four kids who didn't want to sleep. Not so sure that this will become an annual tradition or not. Maybe we'll go again with our grandkids. Just kidding, we did have fun! We are happy that our kids enjoyed it so much. We also celebrated our 11 year anniversary while we were there and went out to a nice dinner with the kids and they were remarkably good for us!

Christmas Dress Fate

I have been coveting a little Christmas dress for Lainie, but I just couldn't spend $50.00 for a dress that she would wear a few Sundays and then outgrow. So, I left it to fate. Then Friday night, I went back to the store to see if they had any left and there was only one dress left and it was Lainie's size. The price had been reduced but I was still being pretty indecisive. Then I noticed a sign that there was a sale, so I asked the salesperson if this was the sale price and she said No, take an additional 25% off. That clenched it! I bought the dress! I saved over $20.00 - I was way excited with my deal and the cute dress!!!

Then I went to get my hair cut on Saturday and there was some type of Christmas craft fair all around the salon parking lot and in the building. So, while I'm waiting for my turn, I'm browsing at one of the booths with girly stuff and find the perfect bow to go with the dress. So, once again fate stepped in and I just had to have it.

Here are pics of Lainie in her Christmas dress after Church today. Have I mentioned how much fun I am having with our baby girl and dressing her?!!!!!

I sure do love this little girl!!!

She brings so much joy and happiness to our family!!!

Preschool Concert

Jacob's preschool had a concert last month. It was fun to watch him up there performing. He is such a fun kid!!!

Here are pics of him with his pre K class singing the ABC Rap!

We sure love our Jacob!
