Which One???

One day she looks like a PRINCESS. . .

And the next day she looks like Daisy Duke. . .

But she is still a sweetheart no matter what outfit she's in.

We'll start worrying when she's a teenager and wants to wear Daisy Dukes then, right? I sure hope NOT!!!!

Our Sweet Girl!

I finally did it! I took Lainie to the studio and got her pictures taken. I've always regretted not doing that more with my boys, so I guess I'll make up for it now. After the pics, I've added some of the fun things that Lainie is doing for journaling.

Lainie - 2 months and 10 days old.

Lainie's Milestones at 2 months, 10 days old:

Smiles all the time

"Talks" so cute to her family - just stares curiously at strangers

Has beautiful blue eyes (so far)

Sucks noisily on her hands when her binkie falls out

Loves to sleep on mom and dad's lap

She is a cuddle bug

Holds her hands together so cute

Holds up her head really well

Loves her baths - typical girl

Sleeps really well at night-usually 4-6 hour block

Loves to eat and gets pretty cranky if she has to wait too long

Spits up after almost every feeding

Is a very Happy and calm baby

Loves to get and give kisses

Brings peace to our house - the boys all love her so much and just love to kiss on her and touch her as much as they can

News on Nash

This is all about NASH!!!

I've never claimed to be very academic, so Nash must take after his Dad because he is so SMART!!! So, bear with me as I do a little or a lot of bragging about Nash.

Kindergarten is not what it was forever ago when I was there. So far this year, Nash has learned to count above and beyond 500, not only can he count by ones, but also twos, fives, and tens. He has learned to read and sound out words, he has learned to tell time, read fractions, figure out money & coin amounts, and just this week he gave an oral presentation to his whole class about Jupiter. I am amazed at how much he learns and remembers. Smart, SMART, SMART!!! [I warned you that I was going to brag :) ]

So not only is Nash academically smart, but he has a lot of common sense and reasoning skills as well. He just WOWs me all the time with the things he thinks about and figures out on his own.

Nash is also becoming quite the ladies man - already at 6 years old. He has liked the same girl in his class the whole year. At least he isn't fickle. :) He has several other girls who are always smiling at him and trying to talk to him or get his attention. It is so cute!!!

Nash is such a good boy and a sweet one too! He helps out so much around the house and helps me with the kids. He makes us laugh and smile too! I don't know what I'd ever do without him!!!

He is our NASH! And we LOVE HIM!!!

Just Too Cute

I had to document this moment for journaling and future scrapbooking reference.

Lainie laughed out loud tonight and it was the cutest thing!!! She and Ragan are lying on the floor playing and Ragan found her tickle spot. She just laughed so cute!!

I can't believe how fast she is growing up - I know, I say that a lot - I just wish I could slow the clock down a little. Anyway, I just had to share this baby milestone of Lainie's.
