Pics of our Utah house

We got here several days before the moving truck so that we could get new carpet installed on the ground floor before all the furniture arrived. I'm so glad we did!!! The past three houses we have lived in had light colored carpet and I just did not want to go through the headache of practically white carpet with four kids again. Even when we were just camping out here in sleeping bags, it already felt like home. So, here are the before and after pics of the family room.

I have big plans for some of the other rooms, but they are going to take a bit longer since painting will be involved. I love being a homeowner again and getting to paint walls and whatever else we want. We are mostly unpacked - a few more boxes to go - and then I will get started on more projects. More pics to come...
