Easter Egg Hunt

Easter sort of sneaked up on us, so we didn't do a whole lot - no new church clothes/dresses and very little candy from the Easter bunny. We did have fun at an egg hunt at our friend's house - THANKS Jernon for inviting us over and sharing in the fun!

Ouch! That's Gonna Leave a Mark

So, I won an award this week that some of you may not have known about.

I won the Worst Mother of the Week Award. Take a look why...

Here is Logan - smiling his sweet smile even though he had kinda a crazy week. He is just one of two of my little monkeys who decided to play out the song, "Two little monkeys jumping on the bed, one fell off and broke his head. Momma called the Doctor and the Doctor said, NO more monkeys jumping on the bed." Logan was the monkey who broke his head, right on the footboard of Nash's bed while I was changing the baby's diaper. Momma didn't call the doctor though, I called 911. What a lovely day when the Fire EMTs show up with an ambulance not far behind. Ragan came home from work and I had got the bleeding finally stopped so Ragan took Logan to the hospital - 5 plus hours at the ER and 8 staples later to the head, he got to come home.

Here is what 8 staples in Logan's noggin looks like. OUCH!!!!!! He has been such a trooper and been so tough through it all.

Hopefully next week goes better. Meanwhile, my incredible husband gets FATHER and HUSBAND OF THE YEAR AWARDS for being so wonderful at such a hard time!!! Thanks honey!!!!

Brotherly Love...

...at least toward Lainie that is.

The boys just absolutely love Lainie. They love to come up and kiss her on the head and give her little hugs. They just adore her as do Ragan and I. She is so much fun!!!! Our family is just so much happier with her here that it is difficult to remember what life was like before she came only three weeks ago.
