Sonogram for Bryce Baby #4

I'm pregnant, if you hadn't heard yet. Yes, again. Here are a few pics of our sonogram pictures from my appointment today. I'm 13 weeks and 2 days along, with March 4th 2008 being the due date. We are really excited, especially to see what we are having. I'm trying not to get my hopes up for a girl or anything - anyone who knows the Bryce genes, knows that we mostly have boys in our family. :) FYI that is not necessarily a bad thing. We just don't hope for girls too often. :)

Anyway, just so you can kinda tell what you are looking at, the baby's head is in the upper right part of the picture. You can see the arms in some pics and a big foot in a different pic. He/she has a cute button nose from shots we got during the sonogram and was being quite active. Big shocker there. ;)

We get another sonogram in about 5 weeks and will hopefully have exciting news to share - one way or another.

Ridin' Around

Our boys have loved having the concrete in our backyard. Yes, we are still working on the rest of the yard, but the boys seem to care less that there is no grass or swingset. Almost every night we turn them loose to go ride bikes and scooters. They love it!!! FREEDOM!!!

Logan is doing his best to ride the trike.

Jacob and Logan having fun!

Nash speeding around on his scooter! He is a little speed demon!

Nash is loving his bike! Now that he actually gets to ride it!

All our boys enjoying their freedom!

First Day of Kindergarten

Nash had his first day of Kindergarten on Thursday, August 16th. He was so excited, but a little nervous. We took him to school a little early so that he could play on the playground with some of the kids, and I asked him if he wanted me to wait until the bell rang before I left and he said, "No mom, I'm good. You can leave now." So, we left him to his day while I got very teary-eyed in the car. He sure has grown up! He is loving school and his teacher has nothing but great things so say about him!

This is Nash eating his first day of school breakfast.
He wanted waffles with homemade syrup.

Here's Nash all ready for school with his backpack and lunchbox.

Fall 2007 School Fashion Preview

We did all of Nash's school shopping on Saturday and when we got home Ragan said that Nash needed to try on all his new clothes and that we should get pictures to show Grandma, because they always showed Grandma Howard their new clothes growing up. So here are some pics of Nash in some of his new school clothes. (Please ignore the tags.) :-)

So Handsome, like his dad (I'm just a little biased)

I'm not quite sure why he looks so surprised in this one. :)

He's growing up so fast.

Can you tell how excited he is to go to Kindergarten?!!!

A little jacket for when it might actually get cold here. YEAH!

Our Family Vacation 2007

We rented a cabin and stayed the week in Red River, NM. Red River is probably the most beautiful place I have ever been. We had fun fishing, hiking, and just wandering around the town. We were a little worried since our trip started off a little rocky. We were about 2 miles from getting into Red River when a police officer got on his loud speaker and drove past saying, "Turn your vehicle around and go back to Questa." We had to loop back around a different route which added on about an hour and a half. We found out later that there had been a mud slide that closed the road. Thank goodness the rest of the trip was wonderful!!!

All Nash and Ragan wanted to do was fish. Nash and Jacob spent all of their spare time practicing casting off the front porch of the cabin. Ragan caught so many fish that I lost track. Nash caught 6 fish and Jacob not only caught his first fish ever, but got a total of 4 fish in all. I only caught one fish, but I was satisfied. I was too worried about one of the boys taking a swim in the pond or river to really concentrate on fishing myself.

We went on several hikes. We got to see quite a bit of the wildlife in the area, including several deer, a small snake, and many chipmunks. The boys were so excited when we saw the first deer, which I got about 15 feet away from - they kept saying, "I'm going to tell my friends, all my cousins, and my grandmas and grandpas." So, consider yourselves told about their exciting time. :)

We had such a fun time! We are hoping to go back next year, if we are still lucky enough to be living in New Mexico.

Playground Time: Part 1

We had so many cute pics of the boys playing that I couldn't narrow
them down to fit into one post.

Logan posing yet again.

Nash made it to the top - look at that view.

Playground Time: Part 2

The boys loved this playground that was at the cabins where
we stayed. Here are just some pictures of us having yet some more fun!

That sure looks like a YUMMY ice cream, Jacob!

Nash is just happy that he doesn't have to share his cone! :)
