Getting Started Early this Year

I'm so excited for Christmas this year. The boys are at that fun age where they are excited about everything for the Holidays. It's Lainie's first Christmas and I'm sure Santa will be bringing her a baby doll - we've never got one of those at our house before.

Most of you that know me, know that I am a Christmas addict. I LOVE everything about the Christmas season. I love the sounds, smells, tastes, sights and feelings of this time of year. Maybe the fact that Ragan and I were married just a week before Christmas helps me enjoy this time of year even more and want to celebrate!!! And Yes, I will be decorating our house before Thanksgiving this year. :)

I have to echo a friend of mine's sentiments, that with how things are in the world right now, we have even more reason to celebrate the good things in our lives, especially our Savior's Birth. I hope that you are all happy and wish all of you a early very Merry Christmas!!!

Pumpkins and Halloween 2008

I am not a fan of Halloween. My kiddos LOVE Halloween, so therefore I try to smile and just silently loath the idea that kids get to go be beggars and then eat way too much junk. Anyway. . .

Here is the outcome of our pumpkin.
I think that Ragan did an awesome job of carving.

Skull and cross bones.
Our jack-o-lantern is losing its soul.
I'm not quite sure what my camera did here,
but I thought it was kinda cool.

Here's Nash with his little jack-o-lantern.

Spiderman (Logan), Buzz Lightyear (Jacob), Optimus Prime (Nash)
Lainie (princess)

My superhero boys and my little princess
(even though I couldn't find a princess costume her size).

In Loving Memory of. . .

My Grandfather, Sylvan Bodily.

My Grandpa passed away recently at the age of 94 years old.
Grandpa will be missed and remembered by many people.
He left behind a great posterity who loves him.
He lived a good, honest and long life.
He was a cowboy.
He was tough, yet kind.
He was loved!!!
We love you Grandpa and we will miss you!

This is one of my favorite pictures of Grandpa.

Here are my awesome uncles and aunt.
I just love them!!!

Here are some pictures out at the farm.
Good memories from my childhood were spent on this farm.

Here I am with my awesome brothers, Mark and Troy.

My incredible husband stayed home with our four children for three days while I flew to Utah and then rode up with Mark, Nicole and their cool kids, to Idaho for Grandpa's funeral.

Thanks to Mark, Nicole, McKay and Madeline for letting me stay at your house and for all the fun time spent hanging out.

Thank you to my awesome hubby for making sure
I was able to make it up to Idaho.
You're the Best!!!

Fall Family Fun

Last Saturday, October 25th, we went to Apple Annie's Orchard and Pumpkin Patch just out of Willcox. We had a really good time. We ate some good cheeseburgers at the orchard and walked around a little. At the Pumpkin Patch, the kids had a lot of fun. Ragan's mom and dad went with us and so did Jenni and her kids. It was a lot of fun spending time with some of Ragan's family.
So, here is our Fall Family Fun. . .

Here are all the kids.
Lainie, Logan, Jacob, Gavin, Nash, Halle, and Carter

Fun in the Corn
We even got to bring some of it home - in all their pockets.

My sexy man!!!

Oh, Logan took a fall.
Jenni with all her kids.

These are the beautiful pumpkins we got.

Lainie just hanging out.

All the kids again.
Aren't they all so cute?!!!

Like I said, we had a lot of FUN! I've never been to a pumpkin patch before. It was fun to watch our boys run from pumpkin to pumpkin yelling that they wanted to take it home. We would have had a dozen if we had brought home all their choices.

I'm really glad that Jenni, kids, and Mom and Dad Bryce came with us! Thanks! It was a fun weekend with everyone!!!
