Nash's First Grade Program

Nash had a great end of year program with all of the FIRST GRADE! It was a nice program with a lot of cute songs - they worked really hard and did a GREAT job! Nash made a lot of friends this year and had a wonderful teacher! I know he is excited to move on, but sad to leave his first grade class & teacher! I can't believe he is going to be in Second Grade next year. He's growing up so fast!!!

We are so PROUD of Nash! Sometimes I feel guilty for being "tough" on Nash and expecting a lot of him, but he has so many talents and so much to offer I just don't want him to ever take the lazy attitude about his endeavors throughout life. He is so incredible at everything he does. He is a quick learner and can think through things that have me stumped. He has a heart of gold and is such a sweet boy!!!

Lainie is 15 months old

Lainie is 15 months old today. I still can't believe how fast the time goes, especially as we get older. I'm trying to enjoy every little moment with her and remember all the sweet things she does.

What Lainie is up to now:

• Lainie still won't walk by herself - she does great walking, as long as she has something to hold on to and if her brothers will actually give her enough space to move without hugs and intervention tactics.


• Lainie is getting more vocal and LOVES to do this yell/squeal thing everywhere we go, which the boys think is super funny, so she gets louder and louder because they laugh at her.


• Lainie is eating all kinds of foods now - she loves cheese crisps, fries, really healthy stuff, but will still eat the chunky baby food from the jar.


• Lainie is still pretty small - not yet 20 lbs.


• Lainie can say the typical words: Daddy, Momma, baby, but one of the cutest is PRETTY! She plays with my jewelry and says "Pretty" It's so CUTE!!!
  

Life is speeding by but everyday we are so grateful that Lainie is a part of our family. She's going to keep her brothers in line since I can't seem to. :) We LOVE YOU Lainie!
