February is usually a very busy month for us, but it is even busier this year as we prepare for two birthdays, a baptism, and a move. So, we cheated a little and celebrated Nash's birthday a week early so that he could have a party with his friends.
Nash is 8 years old, well almost. This is one of the BIG BIRTHDAYS where they get to have a fun friend party, so he got to invite three of his closest friends to go bowling for his birthday - that way everyone had a seat belt and Lainie got to stay home with a sitter. It was so fun to watch how excited all the kids were to go bowling - it was our boys first time to bowl, not counting Wii bowling. :) We spent the first 30 minutes doing regular bowling and the next 30 minutes was "Cosmic Bowling" - see the video below - it was awesome. We got pizza and soda for all the kids then took them to the arcade to play games. After we were done at the bowling alley, we headed back to our house for cake, ice cream and presents. Three fun filled and exhausting hours later, it was all done. Nash says it was the best party ever, so mission accomplished - we have a happy birthday boy!

Logan "speeding" his down the laneLogan was so fun to watch! We told him to do it "granny style" - you know, between the legs throw. So, his version - sit it on the ground between his feet and give it a push. It took quite awhile to reach the pins but he knocked quite a few down each time.
One game took one hour - thanks for making us all smile Logan.
